1925-1950 n 1935 Bartle married Wilhelmine Schneider, a skilled dressmaker girl from Höchst. Because she was familiar with textiles, she could do the sales for the mill. They decided to rebuild the old craftshouse in 1949. After a full year stopping caused by the rebuilding, the machines began to run again in 1950 in the new rooms but still with the old machines. In the same year the raw material was changed from wool of the region to wool fibers from Australia and New Zealand. This was a very important step to improve the yarn quality. |
